Rare Indian ( Service ) Postal Envelope of USA War Department

In 1947 Free Government of India , in the initial years , ( say up to 1955 ) worked in a NEW independent set up but with the OLD Stock of Imperial British Postal Stationery .
Result Some very interesting incidents of confusion ( of course , only from Philately Point of View )
This very interesting Service envelope , immediately after independence is a World War II American Government surplus postal stationery gifted to the newly independent Government of India.
This envelope , originally printed by War Department ( USA ) for " official use " carries a very strict War Time Warning ( please click to ENLARGE and again + at top right corner )
" PENALTY FOR PRIVATE USE TO AVOID PAYMENT OF POSTAGE $ 300 "
Philately 's Unique Specimen ( probably the only one now available ) of hybrid USA and Indian Postal Stationery

This banquet was held at the famous NEW STANLEY HOTEL , Nairobi on Friday ,26 th August , 1961 in honour of Mrs. Indira Gandhi who was on her East Africa visit.
The banquet was hosted by then VVIP leaders of Kenya , the most prominent of them being Mr.Tom Mboya.
This RARE Banquet Card ( in 4 pages- Cardboard Paper ) Bears the Autographs of Mrs. Indira Gandhi , Mr.Tom Mboya and other prominent personalities present that evening at New Stanley Hotel , Nairobi .
Mr.Thomas Joseph Odhiambo Mboya (August 15, 1930 - July 5, 1969) was a prominent Kenyan politician during Jomo Kenyanata's government. He was founder of the Nairobi People's Congress Party, a key figure in the formation of the Kenya African National Union (KANU), and the Minister of Economic Planning and Development at the time of his death. Mboya was assassinated on July 5, 1969 in Nairobi.
