1911- Insignia of Government Mohindra College Patiala - Patiala State Coat of Arms

The prestigious Mohindra College Patiala was set up in 1875 by Maharaja Patiala , whose insignia ( Coat of Arms ) appears on this letter.In the beginning Mohindra College Pataila like St. Stephen 's College of Delhi  was affiliated to Calcutta University.

VERY RARE SPECIMEN OF CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY 's INSIGNIA ( Elephant and Map of United  India - Pakistan)

In December 1946 , when Constituent Assembly was first organised it had members of both Congress and Muslim League ( United India ) .

In this insignia ( now very rare ) one can see the map of  United India - Pakistan after the end unofficial/informal end of 

 British Rule .
 

(After 1947 and creation of Pakistan  , Constituent Assembly was  assigned the role for drafting India 's Constitution under Dr. BR Ambedkar . The Constitution of India came into being on January 26 , 1950 ( celebrated as India 's Republic Day.
